American singer, Rihanna has lent her support to Rapper Kanye West who is hoping to become the US President come 2020.
“I mean people are voting for [Donald] Trump. Who wouldn’t vote for Kanye?” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Although its not clear why she missed the VMAs, Rihanna added that; “I got to see his speech and I’m really, really elated with it. His speech was incredible.”
The controversial Rapper signaled his political intention while receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
Kanye revealed at the end of his speech, “It’s about ideas, bro. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president!”
