RIO 2016: Nigerian Athletes Forced to Beg for Funds on Social Media

In a surprising turn of events, the Nigerian athletes that are supposed to represent the country in the Olympics taking place in Rio, Brazil have been forced to take to social media and crowd funding sites to fund their trip for the games.

The games are to hold from 3rd to 20th August in Brazil and according to the athletes, they have been told to fund themselves to get to the Olympics.

They have now taken to social media to ask for help from people and corporate entities to help them out and get them to Brazil.
