The Kwara State Police Command paraded eight suspected ritual killers, including a woman after they were arrested with 11 human skulls in Ilorin, Kwara.
The suspected ritual killers identified as: Azeez Yakubu, Ahmed Yahaya, Abdulfatai Kadri, Aishat Yunisa, Lukman Saka, Abdulganiyu Bamidele, Soliu Ayinde and Abdulrasaq Babamle, were arrested by the special IGP Monitoring Unit in Ilorin.
The principal suspect identified as Azeez Yakub a.k.a Baba Muri is a known notorious armed robber who has been sentenced to prison several times in the past. The suspect who is now in the custody of the Kwara state police command made shocking revelations regarding the operations of the ritual killers in the state.
The suspect confessed that a certain Abdulfatai Kadri a.k.a (Adedoyin), the vigilante commander in Adeta Zone, introduced him to the business of ritual killing. This same vigilante also supplies the human skulls and other body parts for him to sell.
The police recovered 11 human skulls after a thorough search of the principal suspect’s residence after he confessed that Abdulfatai Kadri brought Twenty (20) human skulls to him having exhumed them from the Ilorin Community Central Burial ground situated after idl-praying ground in Ilorin.

He further confessed that Abdulfatai Kadri a.k.a (Adedoyin) usually brought the human heads in batches of Four, Six and Eight to him for safe keeping; collecting them within a day or two.
Adedoyin also informed him of the personalities in Ilorin and others he usually supplied the human heads to. A powdery substance suspected to be grinded human bones was recovered from Azeez Yakub who confessed to his criminal role in the affair.
Aishat Yunisa a.k.a Iya Alagbo was also mentioned by the principal suspect, Azeez Yakub to be a member of the gang dealing in the sales and supply of human body parts.
Aishat confessed during interrogation that she supplied Two (2) human skulls she obtained from Azeez Yakub to one Ahmed Yahaya and Lukman Saka.
The freshly indicted duo, Ahmed Yahaya and Lukeman Saka confessed to have bought two (2) human skulls from the principal suspect through Aishat Yunusa, grinded for their usage in ritual purposes.
Soliu Ayinde a.k.a Baba Fawasi another suspect in the custody of the police confessed to being a member of the syndicate who receives human parts from both Abdulfatai Kadri the Vigilante commander and Azeez Yakub the Principal suspect.
The Police recovered human bones cut-off from the leg of one of their victims while effecting his arrest.
He further admitted to the Police that the Principal suspect Azeez Yakub and Abdulfatai Kadri were partners in crime.
He also revealed that Azeez had once paid the Vigilante leader the sum of N15,000 for a fresh human skull in his presence.
