A video that surfaced of a woman in Anambra state dancing with a mentally challenged man has sparked controversy on social media. Nigerians feel that she was a ritualist and was doing it in order to meet some ritual demands.
In the viral video, the unidentified woman was seen wearing a blue top and holding a black plastic bag dancing on the road with a mentally challenged person in Ekwulobia, area of the state.
The video has caused some Nigerian’s to claim that she must also be suffering from mental problems because for a sane person to be dancing with a mentally challenged person is abnormal.
There was a comment from a social media follower, Chioma Gloria, she wrote:
No one seems to av noticed what I noticed. Dat Lady isn’t MAD. Pls, watch d video carefully again. She’s out dere for a mission. She wants d mad man for something and d only way to get him is to act like him. She was dancing to the beat, so her senses are correct. U noticed she brought out a pink cloth, then she squatted…wetin u think to say she take d cloth do in between her legs. After that exercise came the hug…now d hug hypnotised the mad man to go in her direction and then she followed closely out of sight of the cheering crowd.
