Rivers: Gov Wike Unseals Caverton Helicopters’ Premises

Nyesom Wike, Executive Governor of Rivers state has unsealed the business premises of Caverton Helicopters after it was initially shut for violating the Executive order regarding the containment of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Prof. Zaccheus Adangor, state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice made the disclosure. He said Wike approved the reopening of Caverton Helicopters after the company tendered an apology for disobeying an Executive order.

Adangor was quoted saying: “We have unsealed the business premises of Carveton Helicopters.

“The Rivers State Governor gave the approval today. The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area was directed to unseal it.

“I have received a call from the company to confirm that their business premises have been unsealed.

“We unsealed the premises on the basis of the apology tendered by the company and their commitment to be of good conduct.”
