Rivers State Government Set To Demolish Two Hotels for Flouting COVID-19 Directives

The Government of Rivers State has announced its intention to demolish two Hotels in the state for violating State Covid-19 guidelines.

The state government had directed the closure of public spaces including Hotels, Bars and Clubs in the state in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.

However Prudent Hotel at Alode in Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel at Onne, Rivers State violated state rules on closure of public spaces.

Consequently the state government announced that both hotels will be demolished in a statement signed by the Commissioner for information and communications, Paul Nsirim.

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Prudent Hotel, Alode, Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne are to be demolished for flouting Government directive on the closure of hotels in the State.
