During Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Barcelona FC, Ronaldo suffered an ankle injury which according to Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane has left him worried.
At the 14th minute, Ronaldo was attacked from behind by Barcelona defender Gerard Pique and was given treatment to continue playing but was later replaced with Marco Asensio by team manager, Zidane who hoped the injury was not serious when he spoke after the match
.
“I cannot say how long he will be out,” Zidane said after the draw.
“Cristiano does not feel good, but he says it’s only a small problem.
“We will see tomorrow, with the tests, and do what we need to see how his ankle is. He is a bit worried, as the ankle is a bit swollen, but he says it is not so much.”
Ronaldo is undoubtedly valuable to the team and he needs to get better quickly because almost every Madrid fan is counting on him
