Ronaldo To Be Sold For €1bn – Perez

Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez has said that Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will only be sold to Paris Saint German (PSG) if the French giants are ready to meet his buy-out clause of €1 billion.

The Qatar Sports Investment-owned club have already had two bids of 85 and 110 million pounds rejected in the last two months by the Galacticos, who insist Ronaldo is not for sale.

PSG are known to be great admirers of 30-year-old Ronaldo who Perez insists has three years left on his contract with Real Madrid.

“If PSG want Ronaldo, it’s easy: they have to pay the release clause: €1 billion.

“No-one is a prophet in football but we don’t want to sell him in 2016. There are still three years left on his contract.”

Observers believe PSG, who already boast of stars like Edison Cavani, Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore and Thiago Silva, are looking to buy Ronaldo as a replacement for 33-year-old Swedish star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is expected to leave the club in the nearest future.

Ronaldo is a three-time FIFA World Player of the Year Award (and Ballon D’Or) winner and the current holder of the title.
