In response to the criticisms, Ruger took to his Instagram story to address the comments, dismissing them as attempts to undermine the enjoyment he shares with his female fans. He referred to the Nigerian critics as “trolls” and proceeded to shame them for their supposed inability to afford fuel, using the recent removal of fuel subsidy and the subsequent price hike as a point of contention.
“It’s funny how these Naija Twitter trolls struggling to buy fuel try to spoil our fun. The fun never stops,” Ruger wrote in an Instagram post.
