Russian Drone Attack Injures Mother, Two Children in Central Ukraine

A Russian drone strike on the central Ukrainian city of Dolynska has left a mother and her two children injured, forcing an emergency evacuation of residents from an apartment building.

Governor of the Kirovohrad region, Andriy Raikovych, confirmed the attack in a Telegram post, stating that the mother and one of her children had been hospitalized due to their injuries.

“A difficult night for the Kirovohrad region. An enemy drone hit a high-rise building in Dolynska,” Raikovych wrote, sharing images of flames erupting from the windows of the damaged structure.

As of now, Moscow has not commented on the incident. However, both Russia and Ukraine have previously denied targeting civilians in the ongoing war, which began nearly three years ago following Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The attack comes amid high-level discussions in Saudi Arabia, where top Russian and U.S. officials are meeting to explore potential resolutions to the war—without the participation of Kyiv or its European allies.

The conflict has resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians, with the majority being Ukrainian.
