Amidst the feud between Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and Emir Muhammad Sanusi, four senior officials of the state government have resigned their appointments.

The officials include Aminu Daurawa, the director-general of Kano state Hisbah board, the agency currently investigating the Emir’s palace over corruption allegations.

Others include Abba Koki, who quit as chairman of Kano State Pilgrims Board; Abubakar Kandahar, permanent commissioner I at Kano state Shariah Commission: and Nazifi Inuwa, the permanent commissioner II at Zakkah and Hubsi commission.

Herald Nigeria learnt that the officials submitted their resignation letters to the secretary to the state government on Friday.

There are also indications that the development may not be unconnected with the ongoing feud between the state governor and Sanusi.

Recall that Ganduje recently signed a bill that reduced the power of Muhammad Sanusi, emir of Kano state. His control was slashed to 10 out of 44 local government areas in the state.
