Saraki, Friends Praying For Buhari’s Death – Senator Omo-Agege

The senator representing Delta Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege has accused Senate President Bukola Saraki of praying for President Muhammadu Buhari’s death.

Omo-Agege, a key member of the Parliamentary Support Group (PSG) behind Buhari in the National Assembly, made this known in Sapele during the climax of his consultative visit to stakeholders of the APC in Delta central on his 2019 reelection bid.

He said that when the prayer failed, Saraki and co resorted to initiating moves to impeach the president.

But Omo-Agege said that such moves would never see the light of day as long as he and his PSG colleagues remained in the National Assembly.

He said that just like Saraki was “chased away” from the APC, the Senate President would soon be “chased away” from his seat and the senate.

He said, “As we speak, we have driven him out of the APC and we would also sack him as Senate President and chase him away from the senate. At the end of everything, he would know that it is me that is behind it.

“He (Saraki) does not like President Buhari. He and his friends have been praying for the death of Mr. President and when they didn’t succeed, they plotted to impeach him and we have refused that. As long as we are in the senate, I want to assure that it would not happen.”

Saraki last week declared his intention to vie for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2019 general elections.
