Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Found Guilty on Two Counts in Federal Sex Trafficking Trial

American hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was found guilty on two out of five federal charges in his highly publicized sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
The verdict was delivered after weeks of testimony and deliberation, with jurors convicting Combs on two counts related to the transportation of women—including his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura—for the purpose of prostitution. He was also found guilty in a similar charge involving another accuser, referred to in court as “Jane.”

The jury cleared Combs of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, including the specific allegations of sex trafficking involving both Ventura and “Jane.”
As the verdict was read, Combs appeared visibly relieved. He pumped his fist and mouthed “thank you” to the jury, signaling his gratitude for the partial acquittal.
The jury’s full verdict was as follows:
- Count 1 (Racketeering Conspiracy): Not Guilty
- Count 2 (Sex Trafficking of Cassie Ventura): Not Guilty
- Count 3 (Transportation for Prostitution of Cassie and Others): Guilty
- Count 4 (Sex Trafficking of Jane): Not Guilty
- Count 5 (Transportation for Prostitution of Jane and Others): Guilty
“Jane,” who dated Combs between early 2021 and his 2024 arrest, testified under a pseudonym due to the sensitive nature of the allegations.
While Combs avoided convictions on the most severe charges, the two guilty verdicts still carry significant legal consequences and could result in a lengthy prison sentence. Sentencing is expected in the coming weeks.
