Nnamdi Kanu’s case file has been returned  by his lawyer John Tsoho to Ibrahim Auta, Cheif Justice  of federal  high court for assignment to someone  else.

An application was written by the legal team of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu led by Chuks Muoma,  stating  that the court was biased in handling the case.

Nnamdi’s lawyer claimed the court was acting under the instructions of President Muhammadu Buhari, not to release him under way circumstance.

The counsel has said if nothing good comes out of this case, they would seek the intervention of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Muoma said any proceedings in the case, following the claim that a petition was written to the National Judicial Council (NJC) to protest against the court would “stifle it”.

In the ruling of the case the judge who prevented the prosecution counsel from speaking said “This case is hereby transferred  to the CJ”.

Justice Tsoho is the second judge to withdraw from the ongoing trial of the Biafran leader.
