Security Consultant Slams Trump’s Immigration Policies

In a recent interview with The Sun, Dr. Ody Ajike, a distinguished security consultant and lawyer, criticized the immigration policies of US President Donald Trump, accusing him of devaluing other nations.

Ajike stated, “Trump is good at making fact-free decisions hinged on authoritarian populism, which is a new development globally.” He explained that while countries are expected to manage their immigration policies effectively, Trump’s approach leads to repressive measures and avoids collective decision-making.

“Trump has made other countries look like supplicant nations,” Dr. Ajike lamented. “We are yet to see what he intends to achieve with this immigration policy because no country is an island.”

He further added, “The American society is one with different asymmetries of social and market powers, which breed inequalities and exploitative work. Others will certainly strengthen what is of value to them.”

Ajike urged nations to establish clear criteria for migration and emigration, expressing concerns about Trump’s alternative conception of reality. He emphasized the importance of recognizing America’s social and economic inequalities and the need for collective decision-making in immigration policy.
