A state-of-the-art cosmetic procedure now promises to help men concerned with the size of their genitals and the girth of their stomach simultaneously by using their unwanted fat as a penis enlarger.
Doctors at Harley Street’s London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery have come up with the penoplasty.
The process includes a liposuction, a medical procedure that sucks fat out of a particular area, such as the abdomen or lower back.
The surgeons then make a small incision at the base of the man’s penis and re-inject the fat into the shaft.
A man from Brighton called Daniel told the Daily Mail that he had decided to have the procedure after his divorce.
After asking how to remove a “stubborn paunch,” doctors suggested Daniel reused the fat on his face or penis.
“I wasn’t unhappy with my size before, but this seemed an opportunity worth taking, especially if I was already undergoing surgery. It was a case of ‘waste not want not,’ because the fat would only have been thrown away,” the 39-year-old said.
“There was some pulling and stretching to ensure the fat was evenly-spread, which was slightly unpleasant, but it certainly wasn’t painful – and the results were immediate.
“For the first 24 hours, I had to wear loose-fitting boxer shorts and was under strict instructions to avoid penetrative sex for a few weeks.”
The surgery, which costs around £3,500, is the brainchild of Dr. Roberto Viel.
“Penoplasty is a day case procedure and is performed under local anesthetic with IV sedation, so there’s no need for an overnight stay. The operation usually takes about 45 minutes and healing time is minimal,” he explained.
The difference between Viel’s procedure and conventional penis pump is the efficient increase in girth (circumference), which the doctor believes is more important than length during intercourse.
“We believe that the penoplasty is justified when the psychological benefits outweigh the risk and cost of the procedure. However, a man’s best sexual organ is his brain – and most men feel much more confident about themselves after the operation.”
London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery reported that it performs 20 penoplasties daily.
