Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was clearly mad at his coach after the defeat to Croatia last night saying that he could say what he wants.

Jorge Sampaoli watched helplessly as his star-studded Argentina side capitulated and lost 3-0 to Croatia to put them on the brink of a first-round exit

He said; “Everything that happens to the team and the players’ drop in form is down to the management. The plan against Croatia did not work out,”

“I was very hopeful, the defeat pains me a lot, but clearly I did not read the game properly.”

A reporter, however, said to Aguero that the manager said that they did not implement his game plan and this was the reason for their defeat.

The striker on hearing the coach’s alleged words said “He can say what he wants,” and then stormed out of the interview

Argentina play Nigeria on Tuesday and as things stand, things are bound to get awkward in the dressing room ahead of the game.

Argentina must win against Nigeria and hope that other results go their way if they want to have any hope of qualification.
