There was drama on the floor of the council chamber of the Presidential Villa when Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha reportedly stopped Communication Minister, Adebayo Shittu from distributing President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign caps to members of the Federal Executive Council at Wednesday’s meeting.
The minister, who is the chairman of the Muhammadu Buhari Support Group, had one of the caps on his head and brought along with him others in ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bags.
He reportedly began distribution of the campaign caps which had the inscription: ‘Continuity 19: Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo’.
However, TheCable reported that Mustapha stepped up to him and told him to stop the distribution.
This was moments before Buhari made his way into the council chambers for the commencement of the meeting.
The minister then handed the caps to council’s secretariat staff members, who are in charge of distributing documents and other items used by FEC members.
