How we arrested killer of Nasarawa APC chairman – Governor Sule

Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule says the killer of the APC chairman in the state, Philip Shekwo, has been nabbed.

He identified the perpetrator as Muhammad Usman, noting that the notorious kidnapper has already confessed to killing the party boss.

According to him, Usman was arrested at Asakio, Lafia East local government by the police operatives.

Sule spoke on Tuesday in Lafia, the state capital, while delivering a speech at a job fair programme.

Recall that unknown gunmen invaded Shekwo’s home in Bukan Sidi in Lafia, on November 21 and abducted him.

However, the APC chairman’s remains were found the next day a few kilometres from his home.

Sule lauded the security operatives for quickly swinging into action to arrest the culprit.

“I was informed that Muhammad Usman also known as Baffa Nura, a notorious kidnapper in Nasarawa state has been arrested and he has confessed that he was the killer.
