Shooter goes on Rampage in Ohio State University, brings 8 people down

A gun welding shooter invaded the Ohio State University, shooting sporadically and injuring at least eight people.

The shooter, who is said to still be at large, fired the first shot from the Watts Hall, which has the school’s material science and engineering program.

The schools’s management team, had tweeted, “Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College.”

The police confirmed one person dead and advised everyone to take shelter until the situation  was calm. Some persons were handcuffed,  and taken in for questioning after they were brought out from the building.

According to an eyewitness, Rebecca Diehm, she said, “It was a normal day, walking out of class, nothing really seemed suspicious but we got to an open area but the first thing I heard were screams.”

Another student, Sydney Ireland, told News Radio 610 WTVN. “It sounded like a handgun, everybody was running in every direction they possibly could. I ran into the bathroom, I was able to lock myself in there.”

Investigations are still ongoing and students have been moved back till calmness is restored to the school.
