“The main opposition party in this election, the PDP is not ready for this election. We have it on good authority that they are planning mayhem to discredit this election.

“And that is why until today, they are not campaigning, you can’t see their posters and they are not talking. It is quite disturbing when you have your main opponent not talking.”

Earlier, The Herald reported that the senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, described former Senator Smart Adeyemi who he defeated in the 2015 senatorial election in Kogi state as his political wife.

The comment comes on the heels of a leaked audio file which alleged that Senator Dino Melaye bribed his way into office.  Dino Melaye while speaking during a Channels TV interview noted that the defeated Senator is his political wife whom he will defeat in any election 1000 times.

Describing the leaked audio file as a work of a “Satanic Collabo” between Senator Smart Adeyemi, Sahara Reporters and others, Dino Melaye said he seeks that God Almighty forgives his detractors.
