Social Media erupts after man bows down to Iara Oshiomole

Nigerians are a diverse people and in some regions there are different ways of demonstrating respect for elders, peers and distinguished people.

However not one social media user took offense to how a middle aged man was photographed bowing before the wife of the Executive Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole.

He protested the act on Facebook with a photo of the incident and captioned it:
‘It is obvious that we have some people with tumors in their brains, thereby making their brains function anticlockwisely. I am an African man and an Esan man by birth. If this shameless, useless and poverty sticking man were to be my father (God forbids) I will stone him to death.
This isn’t Courtesy!
But stupidity, and POVERTY INDUCED MADNESS’
