Social Media Influencer sends message to ‘Disguising Runs Girls’

4 Min Read

The rise of runs girls, especially the ones in disguise, has become such a bone in the throat of social media influencer @_ebelechukwu on Twitter, that she had to voice out her displeasure in an eight-tweets-long thread.

The influencer expressed her displeasure with such accurate scenarios that one might begin to think just how much access she has to the world of said runs girls. The scenarios could not have popped up from thin air now, could they?

She wrote:

“I get party invite. Come let’s go, rich men go Dey there. You fit catch one or two for there” Girl goes to the club and goes home with a random guy, he sends her some money for ‘tp’ and she goes home to tell her gfs about the guy she met in the club. Disguising runs girls.

After everything, they will come online to post about how God’s grace is on their business. Tension young ladies and the clueless young girl will be wondering why she can’t afford the things you afford yet she works hard.

She will go on trips that her business can obviously not afford. And you, you will be shouting God when because you don’t have sense. I know you are about to type some coke from rich families, resist that urge because those are not the people I’m talking about today.

Funny enough, we know some of una reach una papa house oooo .

Let’s not forget the random, “ my friend is in town with some of his friends and he will like me to come with my friends, no worry they will treat us well” Or the ones who travel interstate to go see random men off the internet that invited them Over. Then get paid when leaving.

Let’s not even delve into the corporate babes using their corporate va***** to climb the ladder and making every other hard-working babe feel her effort is not enough.

The aim of this thread is to tell you to your face that you are a runs girl regardless of the front you use. Own up to it and stop making these young girls feel they are not doing enough. Dropping motivation quotes in the morning and sucking balls for money at night.

The bottom line is if you are a young girl striving to make ends meet, keep at it you will break even. All these goodies that you see, you will get them. A little patience and contentment go a long way. My dad always says “good things will never finish provided you are alive.”

With the tone of her thread, it is difficult to decipher if she is giving advice, exposing the truth, or throwing shade at her circle of friends. We are tempted to believe it may just be the latter.
