The government of Kano State has granted one week extension to the 14-man committee set up to investigate the alleged sodomy case at Hassan Gwarzo College.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director of Press to the Deputy Governor, Usman Bello.
According to the statement, the extension followed a request by the committee that it be given one week to round off its investigation on the issue.
The Deputy Governor therefore appealed to all concerned to continue to cooperate with the government in its effort to address the matter on its merit.
