South African Artistes Petition Burna Boy’s ‘Africa Unite’ Concert

South African Rapper, AKA has demanded an apology from Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy to South Africans over The Xenophobic Comments Burna Boy made during the Xenophobic attacks few months ago.

Recall that in September, during the Xenophobic attacks, Burna Boy -pleaded with black foreigners living in South Africa to defend themselves all forms of Xenophobic attacks.

Burna Boy also told AKA to increase his security before giving him the middle finger.

This request was brought to light by AKA following  the forthcoming ‘Africa Unite’ concert that is set to hold in South Africa.

This comes after some South African artistes wrote a petition to the minister of of Arts and Culture to remove Burna Boy from the concert.

AKA wrote” Ek Se…Burna Boy. All we want is an apology. we know SA is not perfect, but we took you in as our own before you reached these levels. You say you are an AFRICAN GIANT, prove it.”

South African responded to AKA’s tweets, also demanding an apology from Burna Boy.

Nigerians wasted no time is backing up Burna Boy as they clapped back at AKA and his fans for trying to degrade Burna Boy.
