A South African exotic dancer, Zodwa Wabantu, has been denied entry into Zambia whose authorities are displeased with her trademark of not wearing underwear.
The dancer has gained quite the reputation for her erotic displays which many men have found fascinating
The dancer was billed to perform at an album launch but was not allowed to enter into Zambia. The Zambian authorities think she has no moral fiber and cares less about social etiquette.
Her promoter, Lucky Munakampe said, “I can confirm that Zodwa has been deported back to South Africa by the immigration department,”
Zambia’s religious affairs minister Godfridah Sumaili speaking to AFP said that Zodwa would not be allowed into Zambia to perform.
“Zambia is a Christian nation where morality and ethics have to be followed. We don’t expect a woman to dance without underwear,” Sumaili said.
