Dr Olaokun Soyinka, first son of Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka has reacted to a trending plane incident involving his father.
Recall that billionaire politician, Tonye Cole reported how a young man compelled the revered playwright to vacate his (young man’s) seat on a plane.
The matter quickly snowballed into a debate over right and morality, with many divided over whether it was morally right for a young man to order an 85-year-old man off a seat – whether his by right or not.
Soyinka’s son and former Commissioner for Health in Ogun State, Dr Olaokun Soyinka, also weighed in thus:
