Controversial Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has reacted to Burna Boy’s cash reward to fellow singer Portable following their celebrity boxing bout on Friday night.

The much-anticipated fight, dubbed Chaos in the Rings, saw Portable emerge victorious over Darlington in a heated showdown that stirred online buzz. In the aftermath of the match, Darlington alleged that Portable used “juju” (charm) to secure the win.

Adding fuel to the fire, Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy—who has had a long-standing feud with Darlington—reportedly gifted Portable N20 million to celebrate the victory. The gesture has been widely interpreted as a jab at Darlington.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Darlington threw fresh shade at Burna Boy, whom he mockingly refers to as “Long Face,” accusing him of obsessively monitoring his online activity.

“Nobody watches you more than your enemy. Because they wanna know if you are doing well. Long Face sleeps on my page. His whole life is now checking up on me,” he wrote.

Darlington and Burna Boy have had a history of public spats and legal disputes, making the latest episode yet another chapter in their ongoing rivalry.

The celebrity boxing match, laced with theatrics and controversy, has since dominated social media discussions, with fans divided over the outcome and reactions that followed.
