The Twitter family woke up to news of Starboy taking a break from music.
“Fever” crooner and Starboy records boss, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has announced to his fans and the general public that he is taking a break from music.
The artist uploaded a video of him chilling with his crew members with the cryptic caption “Gone till March! Thank you”. However, no reason was given for this unexpected break and this has raised some speculations among fans and non-fans alike.
“Wiz needs to rest. We gon’ miss you till March,” tweets @yungmilliRazaki, a starboy associate.
Could Wizkid be getting tired of all the time in the public eye? Is he going underground to cook up something hot? No one knows.
What we do know is that we will miss him and will anxiously wait for more stew and hits to come by March.
