“Your music will take you places all over the globe. You just need to be consistent enough to see it happen. Most artists quit before the blessings show up. Keep going,” the singer wrote.
His words come from experience. Skales’ 2014 hit single “Shake Body” recently enjoyed a viral resurgence on TikTok after Barcelona football star Lamine Yamal featured it in a trending video—bringing the track back into global spotlight a decade after its release.
Skales’ message adds to his recent media presence, including clarifying rumors about his marriage and collaborating on new music with artists like Oritsefemi and Pailizzy. The singer continues to leverage his journey as an example of staying power in the ever-evolving music scene.
