Anambra State Senator, Stella Oduah, on Friday lost her 28-year-old son after a brief illness.
The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District lost her son in a private hospital in Abuja.
The former minister of Aviation during the former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration was reported to have sounded distressed when contacted on phone by news agency, Punch.
The Senator during the phone conversation confirmed the tragic loss of her son whose name is yet unknown.
Speaking on the loss, one of the Senator’s colleagues, Senator Uche Ekwunife representing Anambra Central in the Senate said: “It is very unfortunate. It has shown that death and life belong to God and it is only Him who controls our life. It is a trying moment for her and all of us. I know how it feels as a mother. It is only God who can console her.”
