Stepping Into the Future: Ekiti to train Directors, Auditors on ICT

The Ekiti Government will on Monday begin a seven-day intensive training for its Directors and Internal Auditors on Information and Communication Technology, (ICT).

The workshop is expected to focus on computer appreciation and ICT on Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

This is contained in a statements issued by the Head of Service, Dr Gbenga Faseluka, in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.

Faseluka said those to be trained, included: Directors of Administration and Supplies, Directors of Finance and Accounts and Chief Internal Auditors in the state government public service.

The others were; Directors of Administration, Directors of Finance and Chief Internal Auditors working in all the 16 Local Governments Areas.

He said affected members of staff would converge at College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, in Ikere Local Government Area for the workshop.

Meanwhile, members of staff from local governments would be having their workshop at the Local Government Staff Training School, Ilawe-Ekiti, in EKiti South west Local Government Area.

He sad the workshop would be held simultaneously on Monday, Sept.,19.

NAN also reported that the workshop would be declared opened by the Head of Service. (NAN)
