Adhesives has its strengths which include fast bonding and quick to dry effect. This is particularly beneficial when you don’t have the time that normal gum takes. It however isn’t such a good thing when your skin is at stake.

These are 3 simple ways to go about removing adhesives from your skin.

1. Acetone which is popularly referred to as Nail Polish remover is the easiest. Pour a bit across the affected and rub it gently, let it dry. The glue should start peeling off.

2.  Hot Water is also ideal. Pour a bit of detergent into the water and dip your fingers into it. Let your skin soften a bit and then rub them against each other or use your fingers to peel the glue off.

3. Vaseline or Olive oil is best for people with sensitive skin. Add a bit to the affected area and rub until the glue can be gently peeled away. The grease mixes with the glue to loosen the bond.

You can also just let it be and then it’ll peel off on its own. This might take hours and leave your skin white but it is safer especially if you are not sure how your skin would react.
