An aide to the former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime has addressed the death rumours circulating in the media.
The death rumour of the former Governor had started in the early hours pf yesterday, Saturday and went viral through a WhatsApp broadcast message which read: “Breaking! Former Governor of Enugu State, Barrister Sullivan Chime, is dead.”
The rumour had it that the ex-governor died at an Indian
Hospital.
In reaction to the rumor, an aide to the ex-governor who pleaded anonymity with news agency, DAILY POST, said: “There is no such thing; he is hale and hearty; this rumour is from the pit of hell.”
Further confirming the ex-governor’s status, a member of the Enugu Government House said: “Chime is enjoying himself at Udi, his home town.”
