The Supreme Court has rejected the request of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to review its last judgment in which it nullified the participation of the party its candidates in the last elections in Zamfara State.

A five-man panel of the court, led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, in a ruling on Monday morning, dismissed the application marked: SC/377/2019 filed by the APC, seeking a review of the judgement.

Several attempts made by the lawyer to the APC, Robert Clarke (SAN), to make take a second look at the decision given earlier this year were rejected.

Following the May judgement that held that the APC did not hold valid primaries in Zamfara, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had withdrawn the certificates of return issued its candidates, prompting the APC to seek judicial review.
