The Supreme court has cancelled the election victory of Emeka Ihedioha and declared Hope Uzodinma the lawful Winner of the March 2019 gubernatorial poll.
A 7-man Justice panel unanimously nullified the election declaring Ihedioha as Imo Governor.
The apex court in its ruling stated that Senator Uzodinma’s votes were unlawfully excluded from the counted votes in all 388 polling units of the state.

Hence, the presiding Justice that led the 7-man panel, Justice Kekere declared Uzodinma the lawful Winner of the March 2019 Imo gubernatorial poll.
