Covid-19: Tafsir, Taraweeh Prayers Banned In Kano State

The Kano State Government has banned Tafsir, Taraweeh and Tahajud prayers over the continuous spread of COVID-19.

 

This was disclosed by the Commissioner of Religious Affairs, Dr Muhammad Tahir Adam on Wednesday, during the maiden press briefing by the Kano State Taskforce committee on COVID-19.

The commissioner stated that the government will sponsor some Imams who will go on air on the radio to conduct tafsir prayers.
