Risk appetite got a boost last week despite uncertainty in the markets. Market volatility slid as investors digested the decisions made by Powell and Yellen regarding the situation in the banking sector.

Volatility closed the week in the red as investor confidence seems to be rising again on the back of a slight recovery in the banking sector and a seemingly less hawkish Fed.

The Volatility Index has room for a large rally or drop depending on how the week closes today. This implied move will have massive ramifications for stocks, crypto currencies and other risk on assets, going into Q2, 2023.
