Tension In Nasarawa over ‘missing’ Governor

1 Min Read

The Governor of Nasarawa state, Tanko Al-Makura has plunged Nasarawa into a state of panic after going ‘missing’.

According to reports the governor is out of the country on personal business, but as the trip is not official and he refused to hand over duties of the state to his deputy, people are worried about the situation.

It was gathered that Al-Makura has been cautious with his deputy, who is alleged to be a loyalist of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a former governor of the state, and it is believed that his refusal to hand over to his deputy is linked to this.

Unfortunately, this has adversely affected the state as sources claim that residents in Nasarawa are beginning to feel the hardship occasioned by Governor Al-Makura’s absence.

Meanwhile, aides of Governor Al-Makura were yet to release any statement regarding his movement.
