Femi Fani-Kayode, the embattled ex-aviation minister who was reported to have slumped in EFCC custody during the weekend, is still said to be medically unfit by his wife, Precious Chikwendu.
Over the weekend, reports were revealed that his health was affected while in the commission’s custody, but the EFCC has long denied the allegations levelled against their agency.
Precious Chikwendu, the wife of Femi Kayode, who is also mother to his eight-month-old son, took to her media handle to express her sadness over the situation.
She blamed the EFCC for continuously arresting Kayode irrespective of his health documents which he presented to the agency.
According to Precious, “It is very clear they want FFK dead at all cost. He is a man that would never give you the pleasure of seeing him down, so saying he isn’t ill or never slumped on Saturday is just a way of denying his medical attention.”
“He is ill, and constantly checking into clinic at the Commission and you have seen the health reports. This is pure wickedness.”
Femi Fani-Kayode, was rearrested by the anti-graft agency for fresh corruption charges levelled against him.
