A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has come out to condemn the attack on the medium federal correctional centre in Kabba, Kogi State on Sunday night through Monday morning.
Unknown Gunmen in their tens attacked the medium federal correctional centre in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State which is on the Kabba – LOKOJA highway, killing the military men keeping guide on the road, injured many persons, and released over 200 inmates.

Reacting to the incident on his Instagram page, Fani-Kayode who is a strong association of the state governor, Yahaya Bello, alleged that some persons who are out to discredit the governor are behind the attack.
He wrote: ”The prison break & murder of security men in Kogi was contrived. It is a similar plot to the EFCC one. Those behind it need to know that when God is with someone nothing can stop him. Trying to undermine & discredit Yahaya cannot work. Those behind it will hear from us soon.”
