Popular Nigerian TikTok couple Peller and Jadrolita may be calling it quits following a wave of controversy sparked by a recent incident during Peller’s trip to Ghana.
Speculation about the couple’s relationship status intensified after a video surfaced showing 19-year-old Peller getting close to another woman. The footage quickly went viral, prompting a reaction from Jadrolita, who took to TikTok Live to express her disappointment and announce that she could no longer continue the relationship.
“I’m telling you I cannot be with you,” the 23-year-old influencer said emotionally during the livestream. “Continue with your streaming and do whatever you want. Go and meet someone else that will tolerate such nonsense… We remain cool and business partners in the industry.”
In response to the backlash, Peller defended his actions, claiming the interaction was strictly business. “It’s not my fault. I was paid to do it to help her get more followers,” he said. “They paid for it.”
But Jadrolita wasn’t convinced. “Most people have been saying I’m older than you in this relationship, which is fine. But I ignored that and followed my heart,” she said. “Now that I followed my heart, you’re saying they paid you to do this, to do that?”
In a follow-up video, Peller appeared visibly frustrated, threatening to cut ties entirely. “I will block you everywhere. I don’t want it again. You are mad,” he said.
The couple had previously made headlines in December 2024 when Peller proposed to Jadrolita, and they quickly became one of Nigeria’s most followed online couples, known for their public displays of affection and collaborative content.
