“Tinubu can go in and out of US as he likes” – Keyamo denies reported visa denial

The Official Spokesperson for the 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo SAN has debunked a report that the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been denied a visa into the United States on health grounds.

Debunking the report in a tweet on Monday, Keyamo said that Tinubu can go in and out of the US “as he likes”.

A copy of the report shared by the campaign spokesman stated that the US Embassy in Nigeria denied Tinubu a visa.

The report alleged that Tinubu had booked an appointment with the country’s President, Joe Biden “in order to discuss his ambition and possibility of the US support”.

However, Keyamo described the report as “fake news” and blamed it on “desperation”.
