Tinubu Hails Dangote, Otedola, Rabiu, Ovia as Nigeria’s “Four Wise Men” at Lekki Port Commissioning

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised four of Nigeria’s leading industrialists, describing them as the country’s “wise men” for their significant contributions to national development and economic transformation.
Speaking on Thursday during the commissioning of the access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port in Lagos, Tinubu commended the business moguls — Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Samad Rabiu, and Jim Ovia — for their vision, patriotism, and bold investments in Nigeria’s future.

“I landed here with four wise men: Jim Ovia of Zenith Bank, who is acknowledged worldwide; Femi Otedola, my baby brother; Samad Rabiu of BUA,” the president said. “And I believe, the wisest of them all, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who is so daring in thinking and doing and believing in his own country.”
In a symbolic gesture during the event, Aliko Dangote named the main road leading to the refinery complex after President Tinubu, honouring him for his legacy in infrastructural development and his support for local investment.
Among dignitaries present at the ceremony were Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru, and several business and government leaders.
The Lekki Deep Sea Port project is part of a broader industrial and logistics corridor that includes the Dangote Refinery, aiming to position Nigeria as a hub for West African trade and manufacturing.
