Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage and American R&B icon Usher Raymond have set social media abuzz with relationship rumours after a video of their recent interaction in London went viral.
The pair were spotted together at the afterparty of Usher’s Past Present Future tour stop at the O2 Arena on Wednesday night, where they took on the “30 Seconds Challenge.” In the now-viral clip, Usher prompted Savage to freestyle for 30 seconds — and it was her lyrics that raised eyebrows.
“I’m a little drunk! But it’s alright. I think I’m drunk enough, I think I’m drunk enough. Are you drunk enough? Usher, are you drunk enough? Listen, he loves me,” she said, drawing loud cheers from the crowd and fuelling speculation about a possible romantic connection.
Earlier that evening, fans were thrilled when Usher brought out Tiwa Savage as a surprise guest during his London performance. The duo performed Savage’s hit single “Somebody’s Son,” reigniting memories of their previous on-stage collaboration at the Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana, back in 2022.
While fans continue to dissect the freestyle and speculate on their relationship status, neither Tiwa Savage nor Usher has officially confirmed whether they are romantically involved.
