Toke Makinwa breaks silence over AMCON Home takeover report

Media Personality, Toke Makinwa has reacted to online speculations bordering on her Ikoyi home takeover by Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON)

The Herald yesterday reported that Nigerians unleashed their savagery on Toke Makinwa following rumours that her residence was seized by AMCON over the failure of the property owner to repay a debt.

It was alleged that the real property owner gifted the celebrated media personality the house.

Toke Makinwa has debunked the rumours, with a promise to take legal actions against the instigator of the false news.

This was contained in a statement released by the OAP’s management.

The statement reads;

”On behalf of Ms. Toke Makinwa, we would like to address the rumour circulating the internet that Ms. Toke Makinwa’s alleged house in Banana Island was taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
Ms. Toke’s is the sole owner of her residence in Ikoyi.
Our lawyers have been contacted and legal action will be taken against the originators of this story.
