The Rivers State National/State Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has declared the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the December 10th rerun election in Rivers East Senatorial District, Chief Andrew Uchendu as the winner.
According to the court, Chief Andrew Uchendu will be given a certificate of return and that of Senator Sekibo withdrawn.
It was gathered that the Judgement was to hold by 1. p.m , Thursday but was shifted to 5 pm, and later shifted to 7:30 pm due to some undisclosed reasons.
According to the Judgment, Chief Andrew I. Uchendu OON, will be sworn in to the National Assembly today as the substantial Senator of Rivers East Senatorial District.
