Twitter has deleted Festus Keyamo’s tweet where he posted leaked chats he had with veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem.

According to twitter, Keyamo’s tweets were deleted because they violated the rules of the social media app.

Keyamo had said in a Twitter thread on Saturday night that Eedris Abdulkareem attempted to blackmail him in his new single “Jagajaga Reloaded”.

The singer had released a song titled Jagajaga Reloaded where he sang about the ills in the society and also took a deliberate swipe at Festus Keyamo.

Reacting to the song, the minister said that although the musician keeps up an appearance of being against the Muhammadu Buhari administration, he (Eedris) once begged to be a part of the strategic communications team of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, which he directed in 2018.

Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), shared the musician’s phone number with which he interacted with him.

He also shared screenshots of their conversation where Eedris begged to be introduced to the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami SAN, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.

Keyamo said: “In 2018, when I was named the Director of Strategic Communications for Buhari Campaign Organisation, Eedris waxed a song in support of Buhari and wanted to join us, albeit for a fee. He then made desperate efforts to see me through text messages from his phone no…”

Keyamo added that the musician sought a loan of N1.3 million from him to offset his hotel bills and take care of his sick mother.
