Nigerian Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has drawn the ire of young Nigerians who were visibly disgusted with his recommendation of job creation in the Masquerade sector.
Many Nigerians took to social media and blogs to vent their outrage over his remarks, condemning the All Progressives Congress as “dead on arrival” and devoid of any meaningful solutions to the harsh socio-economic conditions plaguing the country, especially unemployment.
There were memes and jokes as Nigerians showed their displeasure at the apparent insensitivity of the statement.
