Following the disappearance of a sum of N16 Million from the office of the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, one of the directors of the office and the cashier have been accosted by the police.
According to sources, as reported by the PUNCH, the arrest took place after it was discovered during investigation that the office had been burgled without trace to the persons who parted with the money.

It was also gathered from sources that the money stolen was intended to used as funds reserved for the May and June, 2019 allowances of the graduates engaged by the state government to teach in public schools under the S-Power Scheme.
